Actor Uday Chopra has revealed that he is set to give up his acting career after “Dhoom 3″.
“Ok confession time…Dhoom 3 is my swan song…my last film…no I’m not giving up acting…quite the opposite, acting is giving up on me!” Uday wrote on microblogging site Twitter.
The 38-year-old son of filmmaker Yash Chopra forayed into acting with his home production “Mohabbatein” in 2000 along with Jimmy Shergill and Jugal Hansraj.
Uday was later seen in “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai”, which also did well at the box office, and has also been a part of successful “Dhoom” franchise. However, his other films failed to set the cash registers ringing at the box-office.

Acting Carreer??? as if he’s got 10′s or 100′s of movies under his belt, spent many many years acting in bollywood, now he wants to give all up and relax for the rest of his life …… even if he had not made this announcment, it didnt make any difference …. he’s as good as retired anyways ….
What career? What has he done besides Dhoom in last ten yrs that was worth while? And Dhoom was successful due to other lead actors not because of him being tapori guy.
Zilaash – relax mate. He’s not a bad actor and be positive
