Too much talking unhealthy for Amitabh Bachchan

amitabh bachchan Bbuddah1 Amitabh Bachchan, who is busy promoting his upcoming movies “Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap” and “Aarakshan”, says too much of talking is taking a toll on his health – he is suffering from chest congestion.

The 68-year-old is attending TV interviews, radio shows and press conferences to promote the movies and is under medication to curb the infection.

“There has been a setback in the health I think… a congestion arises in the chest and the throat has become hoarse and painful at the glands… so back to home doctor and on to antibiotics to control it … it could also be from the fact that I normally speak as much as I did in the past few days, in a year,” Big B posted on his blog Bigb.bigadda.com.

“My entire quota for the year ending 2011 would still be less than what I have done in the last 2 days. That is a lot of talking ! And when I do get back home its like being drugged … just dozing off even while standing and lack of complete energy. This is not good, once a chest condition begins with me, it takes forever to heal and become normal. So its best given the treatment before it gets out of hand,” he added.

While “Bbuddah… Hoga Terra Baap” is a fun-filled drama about an old man and is releasing July 1, “Aarakshan”, coming on Aug 12, is a serious film that highlights the reservation issue.

Well no need to reiterate that AB needs to be choosy & maintain balance physically, emotionally & spiritually.

No doubt to me that he loves his work or say he is an workaholic. The human society at large, his family & fans want him to live long for which he is the only person best to judge what shd be done.

God bless him & i heartily wish him all the best !!

Amitabh is a workaholic. His blog shows that he gets tired every day and looking forward to his beauty sleep? Does he have to slog like this at his age? He should take it easy, enjoy the slower pace of life. If I was him, I would consider my yesteryears as my glory, get up when my body dictates, do some exercise and spend time in social work like looking after stray animals, keep Mumbai clean…so many causes. The voice of Amitabh will have more effect than many of us put together. Why after the bollywood supremacy at this age? Pack your boots grandpa.I am coming!!
