Karan Johar’s birthday party puts an end to Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s dushmani. They came, attended the party and became friends thereby putting an end to the year’s long rivalry. The two has been sharing a bitter relationship from the days of ‘Chalte Chalte’ after King Khan dropped Ash and signed Rani Mukherjee. Their relationship further damaged when SRK and his family were not invited to Ash-Abhi’s wedding.
Their relationship finally came to an end after SRK passed unceremonious comment against Aishwarya during Katrina’s birthday bash. After that very event, the Bachchan family had almost cut ties with Shahrukh. On Monday night, when Shahrukh with family and Ash with hubby Abhishek came across, SRK extended olive branch to Ash and apologized to her for the wrong.
A source gives an inside details of the happening, “A few minutes into the conversation with Ash, SRK apologized to her.” He said, ‘I think I owe you an apology because in some way I have wronged you.” Then what after the patch-up, the Bachchans and the Khans set the dance floor on fire, they danced, chatted and had fun the entire night.

I think ash is into herself and needs to stop being so petty about films… she knows that she’s a bigger filmstar than rani (even tho i love rani more than ash) and should just let bygones be… besides, i think chalte chalte was great b/c of rani… not sure if i would still love it if ash was in it instead… to all u ash lovers, dont’ get me wrong, she’s a great actress and i love a lot of her movies, but i do feel she’s a bit too egotistical.
at last I am so glad SRK apoligzed to Aish it kinda sad that Aish didnt invite SRK to her wedding, and its sad that SRK dumped Aish for Rani, I mean Rani is a great actor and all but Aishwarya is way prettier and a better actor! But I am glad they will be friends again…Aish and SRK rocks!!!!

It was obvious that this cold war between the 2 was going to end soon — they even sat together (the Bachchans and Shah Rukh and Gauri) at the most recent Idea Star Screen Awards, hosted by Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan, and SRK even Thanked Amitabh Bachchan on stage for visiting him afer his surgery.
