Katrina Kaif, the B-town Barbie doll has certainly made a distinct mark for herself as she has become the first Indian celebrity to be on the coveted list of stars who has a doll launched based on her look and style.
This B-town Barbie doll unveiled the plastic Barbie doll which has been made to look exactly like her in look and poise. The look given to the doll is same as that of Katrina while she had walked the ramp for the Lakme Fashion Week in 2009 in a frilly cute little pink dress, with stilettos and a high pony tail tied neatly at the back, with a small flick of hair falling like the fringe on her delicate forehead.
The doll is certainly every little girls’ dream come true and looks as endearing as the other Barbie dolls launched, but with a touch of Katrina Kaif in her entire persona. Katrina herself was the epitome of fashion at the launch. She looked every bit a diva in her little black dress and her hair tied back neatly in a pony tail with her fringe all in place to give her the distinct Barbie doll look.
This launch has certainly proved that right from the real Barbie doll on the ramp to the plastic world Barbie it is certainly Kat all the way!

I think Katrina is beautiful, I mean she’s a Bollywood actress after all and looking look is part of the job, all actresses look great, but what has Katrina done to deserve to be the face of barbie? I think it’s a little to early for her to be face of barbie, she should stick to a few endorsements it has been maybe like one year till she got here and I’m not comfortable with her being the INDIAN face of barbie mostly because she’s half white.Aish refused so they went to the next best thing, but is that next best thing Katrina? There are so many gorgeous Bollywood actresses who have been in the game longer and have more experience than Katrina and are also more talented. What about Priyanka Chopra? Rani? So many, but of course my first choice if she hadn’t declined would always be Aish because she is the face of India world over it only makes sense for her to be face of barbie.
