The green eyed Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has refused to endorse the French dairy brand Danone, which approached her as the brand ambassador for the product.
In India, Danone has a joint venture with Yakut and Bollywood actress Kajol is endorsing the brand. However, there was a rumor that Danone has plans to start independent business in India and for this the company has signed Aishwarya Rai as the brand ambassador. But, these reports were denied by the publicist of the beauty queen turned actress.
Danone, the French food-products multinational corporation’s claim was totally rejected by the actress. Her publicist said that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has not signed any such deal to be the brand ambassador of Danone and the report is totally wrong. The publicist said that it is totally unprofessional on the part of the company and their agency. He requested the media to get the facts cross checked before publishing such wrong information.
However, the actress is already busy with so many brands and endorsing their products so it would not have been probably possible for her to sign one more. Danone should look for some other face to sign as its brand ambassador in India!
