Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is a familiar name in Hollywood now. She has been brand ambassador for various international brands like Longines, L’Oreal Paris and has also acted in Hollywood projects like the Pink Panther 2, Mistress of Spices, The Last Legion etc.
But the beauty queen has recently refused a Hollywood film, featuring Brad Pitt. She is in high demand among the Hollywood filmmakers but the lady has her hands full with Bollywood projects now. However, she clarified the reason behind her rejection. Aishwarya said, “I was not showing attitude or anything; it is just for the lack of time. My time will be taken up by my Bollywood projects which mean that I cannot do justice to any project in Hollywood right now.”
Earlier also, the actress has rejected the film Troy with Brad Pitt. However, the reason was quite different then. At that time, Aishwarya had said, “I am not comfortable doing those intimate scenes with Brad Pitt. There are lots of kisses and explicit lovemaking scenes. I am not comfortable at all.”
Aishwarya had also refused doing other Hollywood projects like Hancock and Seven Pounds. In fact, the Hollywood director Brett Ratner wanted to cast her in Rush Hour.
Speaking about her international projects, the actress quipped, “In a press conference in India, Michael Douglas confessed that he had brought a script for me. Will Smith was also generous enough to persuade me twice for Hancock and Seven Pounds.”
So, the ‘desi girl’ Aishwarya is not willing to move towards Hollywood now. It is definitely good news for Bollywood and her Indian fans!

Reading between the lines, Ash wouldn’t have played Helen–as she rightfully should have, Helen being supposedly ‘the most beautiful woman in the world.’ Ash would’ve been cast as Achilles (Brad Pitt’s) concubine, Breisis, who was the only female he had any ‘intimate’ scenes with in the film. So in my mind it was a good call on Ash’s part for two reasons; first not to do the intimate scenes and stand up for her principles, but second and more importantly because the casting gave her second place behind the very average-blonde and unspectacular Diane Kruger
What’s the big deal here?If she can kiss Hrithik…so called on screen chemistry..and her”professionalism”..why is she not doing it this time??May be she lacks the courage to come up to that level..of “professionalism”?I mean if she can kiss hrithik and vivek why not brad??I think she’s putting her domestic life first …nahi toh na ghar ki rahegi na ghat ki!!
If she can adjust her whole life with Abhishek then that kissing scene and love scene with Brad Pitt or with another guy in Hollywood does’t matter much.
Kissing Brad Pitt..grrrr I don’t like him at all. Why are Indians going ga ga over Brad Pitt. He’s not all that!!! Being professionalism does not mean one can kiss every Tom Dick or Harry. Every actor has the right to reject.
she has all the right to refuse to kiss brad. Why we indians must do the same things like others, why don’t keep up our traditions. She is astonishingly beautiful ash, she is very proud to be indian, so what, if she has kissed hrithik or vivek, these guys are indians. Moreover, indians films are becoming more & more sexy now, it is a pity. See hrithik in kite ….really, do you like this,

She has declined because she had a lot of movies in Bollywood and she has her endorsements too.. i believe it was because of the scenes too… its was not really good to her to act with brad pitt.. yark! lol
